Railbirds Clip Cheesesteaks 4-3 in League Divisional Series Contest
With starter Adrián Jiménez leading the charge, the Reading Railbirds defeated the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks, 4-3, in Game 3 of the Round 2 today. The right-hander threw 7.0 innings allowing 3 runs at William Penn Park to help Reading take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Reading used the timely hitting of Sherman Parks to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Railbirds on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"This was a good win," said Parks.

The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, October 14th , 2070 at Schuylkill Landing Park in Reading.
