Reading Wins Game 4 in Extras; On Verge of League Championship Series
The Reading Railbirds went into extra innings against the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks but ultimately moved to within one game of the Round 3 today. The Railbirds downed the Cheesesteaks in a 10-inning walk-off at Schuylkill Landing Park by a final score of 4-3. Reading right-hander Connor Kelloway had a commendable performance. He threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The win gives the Railbirds a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Round 2.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Reading first baseman Gonzalo Pimentel, facing Ernest Reese, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Railbirds the 4-3 win.

"We did enough to win," said Pimentel.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Schuylkill Landing Park in Reading.
