Railbirds Win Again, Extend Series Lead to 3-0
Riding the 6-hit performance of third baseman Gonzalo Pimentel, the Reading Railbirds got a road win against the Alcatraz Island Jail Break, 9-5, in Game 3 of the Round 3 today. Pimentel was 6-6 with 6 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Railbirds, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.

Pimentel contributed when he hit a 2-run single in the top of the seventh. Coming with two outs and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the single proved to be critical to helping Reading get the win.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Pimentel. "And not try to do too much."

Game 4 is scheduled for Friday at Schuylkill Landing Park in Reading.
