Already down in the Round 2, the West Island Storm put on their best show, beating the Cape Canaveral Launch by a final score of 2-1 today. Ron Collins was special. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 1 runs. West Island now trails Cape Canaveral 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Kuei-lin Chia, the 35-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Chia contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put West Island up, 1-0.
