Ravens Win to Extend Series Lead to 3-0
The Richmond Ravens are one game away from a sweep after beating the visiting Keg Creek Coyotes, 5-4, at Battle Field today. Ravens right-hander Curt Brown had a standout performance in which he threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball. Richmond now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Round 2.

Wayne Gary aided the Richmond cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the shortstop went 1 for 3.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Gary told the Richmond Chronicle.

Game 4 is scheduled for Wednesday at Coyote Den Stadium in Sioux City.
