Storm Clip Railbirds 3-2 in POTD Championship Series Contest
Behind a bravura effort from starter Ron Collins, the West Island Storm topped the Reading Railbirds by the score of 3-2 today and got their first win in the 2070 Round 4. Collins threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the Storm. The win moves West Island into a 1-1 tie with Reading.

Sean Woodard, the 11-year veteran , had a direct impact on the outcome. Woodard contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put West Island up, 2-0.

"I felt we were ready to go," said West Island manager . "Our pregame was pretty good."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Schuylkill Landing Park in Reading.
