Blitzed by Rouse, Railbirds, Militia Sink Further in POTD Championship Series

Riding the 2-hit performance of left fielder Dave Rouse, the Reading Railbirds stopped the visiting Michigan Militia, 8-3, in Game 2 of the Round 4. Rouse was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Railbirds, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.
Reading took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, Phil O'Day hit a 2-run double to make it 5-3, Railbirds.
"We played hard and won," said Rouse. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Schuylkill Landing Park in Reading.
