Coyotes Trip Railbirds, 3-2, in Extra Innings
The Keg Creek Coyotes picked up a win at Coyote Den Stadium, knocking off the Reading Railbirds, 3-2. Starting pitcher Butch Gray played a key role in the triumph. Keg Creek reliever Augusto Gonzáles picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Russ Lynch absorbed the loss. Keg Creek is now 42-22, 7½ games up in the Appalachian Northern.

The Coyotes procured the win, in large part because of center fielder José Velásquez. In the bottom of the 12th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Velásquez.
