The Amarillo Chicken Haulers stopped the Orlando Rum Runners, 7-6, behind an impressive performance from Tony Mieses. The 22-year old center fielder made life miserable for Orlando pitching. He went 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The Chicken Haulers are now 38-31, while the Rum Runners fall to 43-26.

The Chicken Haulers were down to their final out when second baseman Héctor González turned a full count fastball from Nick Sharpley into a bases-clearing double. The walk-off double made the The Chicken Coop crowd go wild.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," González told the Amarillo Daily.
