Led by Roberto Clemente, the Reading Railbirds downed the Alcatraz Island Jail Break, 11-6. Clemente went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Railbirds. Reading reliever Martín Burgos got the win, raising his record to 2-2. Hsin-pei Gui was tagged with the loss. Reading now has a record of 40-30 with the win.

Eugene Bonner, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2070 draft, helped out the Reading cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the shortstop drew 1 walk.
