Hall of Fame Selection announcement coming next week Wednesday, December 26th , 2068 While it's not a sure thing, 18-year veteran Felipe Moreno is expected to have the votes to go into the Pioneers of the Diamond Hall of Fame for 2069. The annual class will be announced next week, and Moreno is expected to receive the highest percentage of votes for his outstanding 19-year career. Having retired in 2064, he said he planned to go into the Hall as a member of the Keg Creek Coyotes. Voters are reminded that ballots may be cast up until the votes are announced on January 2nd , 2069. In his 2452-game career Moreno has hit .319 with 2860 hits, 289 home runs, and 1314 RBIs and has scored 1427 runs. |
