The 33-year-old was a dominant performer all year for Richmond and his efforts have been rewarded with the Appalachian Reliever of the Year Award for 2065.
The bullpen ace had an impressive 0.87 ERA this season, with 5 saves in 45 relief appearances. He fanned 46 batters in 51.2 innings and sported a record of 4 wins and 4 losses.
He received 12 first place votes out of a possible 28. James Dunham of the Ozark Outlaws finished second in voting with 10 first place votes, while Ethan Wood of the Richmond Ravens finished third with 2 first place votes.
