Red-Hot Aguilar Scorches Aces
Sunday, April 17th , 2072
West Island first baseman Rafael Aguilar had a big day at Hot Box against the Atlantic City Aces. The 25-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led to the 9-8 Storm triumph over Atlantic City.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Aguilar said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

Rafael Aguilar hit a two-run home run off Richard Aubert in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Pepe Andrade in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.

So far this year, Aguilar is batting .404 with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 9 runs scored.
