 | Coyotes Chill Strickland's Hot Streak Monday, May 7th, 2046 The Keg Creek Coyotes pitching did its job today, holding hot-hitting Ray Strickland hitless in 3 at-bats during a 8-4 victory over the Michigan Militia at Coyote Den Stadium. This disappointing performance ended his 24-game hitting streak. "I'm a little down right now," Strickland said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." So far this year Strickland is hitting .237 with 3 home runs. |   |
