Falcons Lambert Gone for Year
Tuesday, March 4th, 2059
The doctors have spoken and Frank Lambert of the Newark Falcons didn't like what he heard. The 28-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Lambert sustained his season-ending injury during the West Island Storm game yesterday at Spring Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Newark medical staff reported Lambert had a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months.
