Gredillas Hits in 20 Straight Games Thursday, May 1st, 2059 With 1 hit at Vargas Field today, Gonzalo Gredillas added another game to his hitting streak -- the Alcatraz Island left fielder has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Jail Break today, as they fell, 10-5, to the Crab Apple Cove Mashers. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Crab Apple Cove manager Crab Apple GM said later. "I'll let him get 5 hits in 5 at-bats if it means we get a win." Gonzalo Gredillas grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. In 2059 Gredillas has hit at a .322 clip with 28 hits, 4 home runs, 18 RBIs and has scored 16 times. |
