FR's Top Player Named Monday, May 5th, 2059 At the age of 29, Richard Sanders might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Iowa first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .433 batting average. For his efforts Sanders collected the Frontier Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 30 at-bats, 5 home runs and 13 RBIs last week in 7 games. This year Sanders has collected a .298 batting average to date with 31 hits in 104 at-bats, 25 RBIs, 8 home runs and scored 18 times. He has played in 27 games. |
