Tony Colón, the Cape Canaveral Launch 25-year-old center fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Appalachian Player of the Week honors. He ripped 11 hits in 25 at-bats, compiling a .440 average with 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. So far this season, Colón is hitting .422 with 5 home runs. |
