Death Valley Starter April's Best Pitcher Wednesday, May 1st , 2075 This month when the Death Valley manager wrote the name "Guillén" on the lineup card, he was confident that he would get a good start out of him. Outing after outing in April Pepe Guillén took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 4-0 mark and 2.39 ERA in 4 starts, piling up 26.1 innings and 27 strikeouts and holding opposing teams to a .211 average. For his superb performance Guillén was named the Frontier Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. |
