Nick Pierce Hurt, Out for Year Thursday, June 3rd , 2077 Nick Pierce has to call it a season. The Honolulu High Tide shortstop sustained a season-ending injury against the Orlando Rum Runners and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Pierce was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn posterior cruciate ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 6 months. For the year, Pierce has hit .235 with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 8 runs. |
