Havana Announces Pérez Will Retire Sunday, June 6th , 2077 Martin Pérez is stepping away from the game of baseball at the end of the season. The Havana Comrades player gave a brief explanation to reporters this afternoon. "It's time to step away from the game and work on phase two of my life - world domination," the 39-year-old joked. Pérez wisecracked for several minutes while reminiscing about high and low points of his career. At the end of the session, Pérez sent a personal message. "I truly thank all you fans." Since he came into the league, Pérez has 5 saves with a 15-17 record and a 4.45 ERA. |
