Long Hurt, Listed DTD by Falcons Saturday, April 8th, 2062 Newark team officials speculated whether star second baseman Scotty Long would be scratched from today's ballgame after he suffered a bruised thigh in yesterday's matchup with the Richmond Ravens. Long denied reports that he would miss a lot of time, but added that he would not risk further injury by playing. For the season Long has hit .385 with 1 home run and 4 RBIs.
