AP Announces Player of the Week Monday, May 20th, 2058 The premier performer in the Appalachian this week was Chris Landry of the Orlando Rum Runners. The hot-hitting 28-year-old third baseman put up a .438 average and .457 on-base percentage, piling up 14 hits in 32 at-bats, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 9 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the AP Player of the Week honors. So far this year Landry is hitting .285 with 14 home runs. |
