Star of the Week Awarded in AP Monday, May 28th , 2074 The Appalachian made it official today: Gilberto Amador is the Player of the Week. He really stood out on the diamond this week with a .565 average to take home the award. The Washington left fielder went 13-for-23, drove in 4 runs, scored 10 times and hit 2 home runs. This season, Amador is hitting .376 with 56 hits, 4 home runs, 25 RBIs, scored 39 runs and played in 40 games. |
