Ricks Goes 5-for-6 Against Minneapolis Saturday, May 19th , 2068 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Newark's Jim Ricks made it happen today against the Maulers. Everything came together at the plate for the 30-year-old third baseman as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Falcons to a 13-1 win at MacLaren Stadium. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Ricks said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Jim Ricks singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Curt Hodge in the 9th.
