Rehab Road Tough for Falcons Dave Field Sunday, May 27th , 2068 The Newark Falcons will have to do without right fielder Dave Field even longer than expected. Team doctors say that Field's recovery from a strained rib cage muscle has not gone well and more time will be needed to treat it successfully. The Falcons trainer indicated it would be at least 5 days before they would consider activating Field. This season in 37 games, Field has hit at a .256 clip with 33 hits, no home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. |
