Johnston had a very impressive day at the plate, spanking Michigan pitching for 5 base hits, but couldn't do enough for a win. Michigan whipped Atlantic City by the score of 16-9. Rudolph Johnston hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
