Monday, May 25th , 2076
Conner Bond of the Boston Revolution was injured in today's game against Havana and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn labrum, and he is expected to be out for up to 5 months. It happened while Bond was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field."
This season, Bond has worked 50.1 innings with 43 strikeouts en route to a 3-1 record and a 3.58 ERA.
