Players Suspended in Cheesesteaks-Border Jumpers Donnybrook Tuesday, July 23rd, 2052 Matt Brown of the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks and Jud Larson of the Laredo Border Jumpers received official notice today from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended 8 games for their roles in the on-field disturbance in a recent game at William Penn Park. Brown is hitting .318 so far this season with 34 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 82 hits including 9 home runs, 9 walks and .348 OBP. On the season Larson has 7 wins and 8 losses and a 4.15 ERA. |
