Soriano Hurls No-Hitter Against Monuments Wednesday, June 7th, 2056 Newark Falcons starter Ricardo Soriano was unhittable today at Falcons Field. Soriano beat the Washington Monuments 5-0, breezing through the Monuments lineup en route to a no-hitter. "I thought Ricardo started off a little slow and was struggling with his command at first," Falcons manager Eric Hartman said later. "He lucked his way through the early innings, and they helped him out by not being patient. Eventually, it all came together for him, and from there on the Monuments never had a chance. He dominated them." Soriano struck out 10 batters and issued 1 walk in the performance. This year Soriano has gone 9-1 with an ERA of 1.40 and has 117 strikeouts in 83.2 innings.
