He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Death Valley left fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Adelmar Marceiro tripled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off J.R. May in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Marceiro is hitting .319 this year with 6 home runs and 34 RBIs.
