Potts Gone for Season in Philadelphia
Sunday, June 30th, 2058
When Philadelphia second baseman John Potts was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Cheesesteaks-Crop Circles game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Potts had sustained a torn posterior cruciate ligament and will be out for about 9-10 months.
Thus far this year Potts is batting .219 with 2 home runs, 15 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
