Wilson Batters Vermont Big Time Wednesday, July 3rd, 2058 There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget. David Wilson of the Keg Creek Coyotes had one such moment at Coyote Den Stadium today, when he went 5 for 5 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Keg Creek fell to a 10-8 defeat to the Vermont Emperor Penguins. "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 28-year-old right fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game." David Wilson hit a solo-shot off Morris Palmer in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
