3500th Hit for Brisebois Saturday, May 4th , 2069 "It would have been a lot nicer if my 3500th hit had won the game," said Fred Brisebois after the Death Valley Burn had been tripped up by the Iowa Crop Circles, 11-5, spoiling his big day. The Burn third baseman gained access to the exclusive 3500-hit club by going 2-for-4 in the game played at The Cornfield. "The standing ovation by the fans is not something I will ever forget," Brisebois said to the press after the game. "I think even the Crop Circles fans were cheering me."
