Vermont Lake Monsters Ship Johnsen to West Island Sunday, April 17th, 2061 BNN has learned the Vermont Lake Monsters have reportedly worked out a deal with the West Island Storm. Sources close to the Lake Monsters indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 35-year-old RHP Gary Ballina, a 1st round draft pick and a 5th round draft pick will be swapped to Vermont with 30-year-old RHP Glen Johnsen and a 2nd round draft pick heading to West Island . Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. Lifetime Johnsen has notched 76 wins and 45 losses and compiled a 3.77 ERA. During his career Ballina has 182 wins and 88 losses with 0 saves. His ERA stands at 3.35, and he has 3294 strikeouts in 2593.1 innings. |
