Iowa-Mexico City Swap: Gorman for Beltrán Sunday, August 1st, 2049 The Iowa Crop Circles have made a deal sending 27-year-old CF Doug Gorman and 18-year-old minor league LF Phil Fletcher to the Mexico City Diablos for 33-year-old RHP Artie Kenmare, 30-year-old RF José Beltrán and 30-year-old LF Tony Harris. Both sides are said to be pleased with the way the trade worked out. Gorman is currently batting .271 with 15 home runs, 42 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has 64 hits in 236 at-bats. This season Beltrán is batting .324 with 113 hits, 11 home runs, 54 RBIs, .381 OBP and has scored 51 runs. |
