Glacier Bay, Cape Canaveral Agree to Swap Sunday, July 4th , 2077 BNN has learned the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates have reportedly worked out a deal with the Cape Canaveral Launch. Sources close to the Ice Pirates indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where a 2nd round draft pick and a 4th round draft pick will be swapped to Glacier Bay with 33-year old minor league LHP César Domínguez heading to Cape Canaveral. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. Glacier Bay will retain a portion of Domínguez's remaining contract. This season, he has made 30 relief appearances, collecting 9 saves. Domínguez has worked 33.2 innings, yielding 33 hits and giving out 7 free passes while striking out 44. He has a 0-3 record with a 5.35 ERA. |
