Brandt Sits Out with Day-to-Day Injury Friday, June 19th , 2065 Chicken Haulers star first baseman George Brandt might be sitting it out a few days after he picked up an injury in yesterday's game against the Vermont Lake Monsters. He sustained a sore elbow while colliding with a player at a base. Brandt isn't expected to miss a lot of time. However, doctors want to be cautious. They said he would be day-to-day for about 4 weeks. This year Brandt has hit at a .237 clip with 60 hits, 20 home runs, 41 RBIs and 40 runs scored. |
