St. Paul's Lewis Sidelined for Season Tuesday, August 29th, 2051 Gil Lewis has to call it a season. The St. Paul Bearers left fielder sustained a season-ending injury against the Crab Apple Cove Mashers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Lewis was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a sports hernia and stated that he would not be able to play for 6-7 weeks. This year Lewis is hitting .309 with 27 home runs. |
