Revolution Díaz Suffers Setback Sunday, August 12th, 2057 Just when it looked like Augusto Díaz would soon return to the Boston Revolution, the closer suffered yet another setback in his recovery from a strained abdominal muscle. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when Díaz experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be disabled for at least 2 weeks. For the year Díaz has nailed down 12 saves. In 22.1 innings he has fanned 22 batters and walked 3. His record is 2-3 with a 3.22 ERA and the opposition is batting .312 against him. |
