AP Star of the Week Honored Monday, September 2nd, 2047 At the age of 31, Ron McCall might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Richmond third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .522 batting average. For his efforts McCall collected the Appalachian Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs and 4 RBIs last week in 6 games. This year McCall has hit at a .307 pace and produced 49 RBIs, 18 home runs and scored 56 runs. |
