Season-Ending Injury for Chad Smith Wednesday, September 3rd, 2059 The season is finished for Chad Smith of the Quaghog Clams. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Clams starting pitcher suffered a torn meniscus while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the La Paz War. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. So far this season Smith has no wins and 8 losses and a 4.91 ERA. |
