AP Honors Honolulu First Baseman Monday, May 30th, 2061 Paul Bright did nothing to hurt his value as an upcoming free agent last week, making contact with the ball at every opportunity and reeling in the Appalachian Player of the Week Award. The first baseman hit .455 for the High Tide, recording 15 hits in 33 at-bats, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Thus far this season in 51 games Bright is batting .327 with 12 home runs, 46 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 70 hits in 214 at-bats. |
