Walker, Anthony Swap Teams Thursday, July 27th , 2073 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Crab Apple Cove and Havana have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 31-year old LHP Martin Walker to the Comrades with 22-year old minor league RHP Dan Anthony joining the Mashers. Crab Apple Cove general manager would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. His stats sheet for the year shows Walker has managed to hold opponents to a .153 average in 30 relief appearances, while putting up 1-1 record with 54 strikeouts and 8 walks in 42 innings. He has a 2.36 ERA with 1 save. |
