Maulers Send Douglas to Michigan Thursday, July 27th , 2073 Minneapolis and Michigan announced today in a joint press conference that 36-year old RHP Greg Douglas will be going to the Militia in exchange for 19-year old minor league C Waylon Dugles. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. This year, Douglas has 15 saves. In 37 relief appearances he has hurled 45 innings, fanned 42 and given up 11 walks with a 4-7 record. The Michigan reliever has recorded a 3.60 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .263 when he is in the game. |
