Felipe Moreno of Keg Creek Injured, DTD Thursday, August 28th, 2053 Keg Creek team officials speculated whether star catcher Felipe Moreno would be scratched from today's ballgame after he suffered a strained oblique in yesterday's matchup with the Honolulu High Life. Moreno denied reports that he would miss a lot of time, but added that he would not risk further injury by playing. So far this season Moreno has gotten 120 hits in 376 at-bats for a .319 batting average with 15 home runs. His stats include 57 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has played in 102 games. |
