Ishiguro's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Thursday, October 9th, 2059 Sotan Ishiguro is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for a herniated disc. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Burn sent the 26-year-old starting pitcher back to the doctors for reexamination. Ishiguro told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Ishiguro will now miss a minimum of one week. This season Ishiguro has a 14-7 record with a 5.30 ERA in 32 starts. |
