Militia End Webb's Streak Friday, July 5th, 2058 Brent Webb's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 24 games today as the Amarillo Chicken Haulers dropped their contest with the Michigan Militia 4-0 at Assembly Line Grounds. Webb failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-4. After the game Webb spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. In his season totals, Webb has 23 home runs, .331 BA, .387 OBP, 64 RBIs and 54 runs scored. He has played in 77 games. |
