Recovery Slow For Border Jumpers Mario De La Garza Thursday, August 22nd, 2052 Laredo third baseman Mario De La Garza has suffered a setback in his recovery from a fractured rib. According to Border Jumpers officials, he will be out of action for 2 weeks. "Doctors are concerned with the rate of healing and have decided that De La Garza will need additional time in rehab before he will be cleared to play," one team spokesman explained to reporters.
