Tony Leslie Injured, Out for Year Thursday, July 14th , 2072 Tony Leslie will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Newark first baseman could miss the remainder of the year. Leslie was injured while running the bases in the Falcons-Aces clash at Trump Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a broken kneecap and would be out a minimum of 8 months. At the moment, Leslie is batting .232 with 22 home runs and 56 RBIs. He has played in 83 games and scored 48 times. |
